I’m Cheryl Goer. I’m a digital creator based in Manhattan, New York. On my YouTube channel, I create lifestyle, travel, beauty, and fashion content and share everything I love with my audience, including a popular series where I review instant cameras and mini photo printers.
I was born in Orange County, California, but moved to Taipei, Taiwan, at the age of 4. I spent most of my childhood in Taiwan before returning to the U.S. at 15 to complete high school, college, and graduate school in Florida. Having split my life between Taiwan and the States, I’ve faced the unique challenge of navigating my cultural identity. Growing up, I often felt like I didn’t fully belong in either country—Americans saw me as Taiwanese, while Taiwanese people viewed me as American.
Over time, I’ve learned to embrace both cultures and appreciate how they’ve shaped me. My Taiwanese roots instilled a deep sense of family and community, while my American upbringing taught me to value individuality and to pursue my dreams. These perspectives have made me more open-minded, allowing me to create my own set of beliefs. Today, I proudly identify as Taiwanese-American.
Remember, joy is the true measure of success! 🤍
Fun fact: While I’m a dog person at heart, I’m also a proud cat mom to two adorable fur babies!
My meowmy found me in her backyard when I was 3 weeks old. She promised that I would be her bürshi furever.
Once a bürshi, always a bürshi.
In September 2014, when I was 4 months old, my meowmy signed the adoption papers and promised that she would be my mom forever. I've been happy and feeling really safe ever since.
